There are two sizes of cable trunk the 30" and the 45" they can each come with two types of lid, the butterfly style and the overlatch style with doormaker location.

Butterfly style has a deeper lid and our custom male/female location all around the lid and heavy duty wheels.

The overlatch style has a shallow lid and uses our doormaker extrusion they also come with heavy duty wheels.

Each case can come equiped with internal slots in 9mm panels, engraved if requested, to separate the case into different sections.

Construction
The case is constructed from 12mm laminated birch ply for extra strenth. Edges and corners of SSE's SL cases are strengthened by our own special aluminium extrusions, which encase both the external and internal faces of the timber edge. Additionally the corner box-section of the extrusion incorporates bracing for maximum strength and to prevent folding under pressure. External faces are rounded for improved handling. Finished in a very tough textured laminate and fitted out with heavy duty components for handles, catches and wheels.

Doormaker Lid
SSE's own 28mm doormaker hinge enables a folding lid to be used on the truck. This double hinge allows the lid to fold a full 270 degrees, so when it is fully it lies flat against the back of the trunk, out of the way from damage to itself or personnel.

When the lid is closed it has a positive location and locks with two spanning overlatches.

Internally, the case is supplied without partitions, but there are slots in the sides and ends of the case to take partition boards (available as an extra). It is also possible to have a semi circle slot cut in the end of the case for loading cable.

Primarily designed to transport cables, this truck can be used to store and move a wide range of accessories.
