'Doormaker' is Sigma Fabrication's latest design of location for a folding case lid

Sigma's own 28mm doormaker location. Enables a number of applications including a folding lid on a case, also a shallow door which means the weight is greatly reduced by using lighter catches less angle and location this inturn reduces cost. By using double hinge it allows the lid to fold a full 270 degrees, so when it is fully open it lies flat against the back of the case, out of the way from damage to itself or personnel.

When the lid is closed it has a positive location and locks with two or four spanning overlatches.
